Thanks for the reply, however, I still cannot find my ipa file. Could you narrow down the containing folder a bit further ?
Also, side question. Why can I not see the library folder when I navigate to my home dir on the Mac, but when I go to the 'go to folders' option and open up the ~/library location it lets me in no problems?

No problem. First, did you enable the IPA in your project options? (Your iOS project -> Properties -> iOS IPA Options)
After doing so, you have to build your project in Release and the 'Show IPA File In Build Server' button should be enabled and working.
On my Mac the IPA is placed in ~/Library/Caches/Xamarin/mtbs/builds/<App Project Name>/<Long GUID>/bin/iPhone/Release/
Navigate to ~/Library/Caches/Xamarin/mtbs/builds/ and find your way from there.
The Library folder is hidden by default on some versions of Mac OS X to avoid people messing with system files.
You can create a shortcut to the Library folder or use the Finder menu Go (press Alt when the menu is open and Library will appear there).

You may need to access content in the user Library folder to troubleshoot problems with your Adobe applications. The user Library folder is hidden by default in macOS X 10.7 and later releases. Use one of the following methods to make the user Library content visible.
